Our favourite interior this week…

Peach House - New frozen yoghurt store in LA

We came across this great little design in the current issue of Frame magazine…

Peach House is the first of a new design for a frozen yogurt shop in LA.  The creators were inspired by the swirling layers of frozen yogurt, so the interior walls became layered ribs which bend to form both tables for the customers and the service counter.

Upon entry, a bright golden yellow bar front and back wall drawn from the color of a peach enliven the space.  Hidden from view when entering, but visible upon looking back toward the entry are a gradient of oranges and reds reminiscent in the skin of a peach, illuminated by LED rope lighting concealed within each of the ribs.

It was designed by LA based MAKE Architects who additionally designed the logo, menu and graphics for Peach House.
